Every appointment made at Sound Mind Telepsychiatry is handled accordingly. We reserve your appointment slot so you can see one of our psychiatric providers at an available time window scheduled by our staff. This prevents other patients from coming in at that time. We try to remind you about your appointment a day or two before the schedule. However, please take note that it is your responsibility to remember your appointment with us.

We understand that it may be necessary to miss an appointment. However, when you do not cancel an appointment online, you may be preventing another patient from getting much needed treatment.

Conversely, the situation may arise where another patient fails to cancel, and we are unable to schedule you for a visit, due to a seemingly “full” appointment book.

If an appointment is not canceled at least 12 hours in advance you will be charged 100% of the service fee.

If you have missed or canceled 2 sessions, you may be discharged by your provider from the service due to administrative reasons.
